Jacqueline Ellis: (BA) (LLB) UCT

After almost 20 years of practising law in the male dominated environment of corporate law firms, Jacqueline Ellis decided that it was time to start doing things differently and opened her own law firm in January 2003.

In large law firms the individual client slips through the cracks with the focus being on the higher paying corporate client.

As a female attorney, Jacqueline Ellis is in a unique position to understand what female clients are going through as well as to help them find a way out of relationships that have broken down.

At Jacqueline Ellis Attorneys we empower our clients to know their rights, achieve financial independence and freedom from toxic relationships.

Jacqueline Ellis studied at the University of Cape Town obtaining both a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology as well as law and obtaining further a Bachelor of Laws degree. Jacqueline has right of appearance in both the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Local Division, Johannesburg as well as in the High Court of South Africa, Western Cape Division, Cape Town.

Jacqueline has served at Parliament as a parliamentary monitor for the Justice Committee, as the Legal Advisor to the Business Woman’s Association, been the Vice Chairman of Business Network International as well as being involved in various projects such as Street Law.

Regardless of whether our clients are high profile individuals; our mission is to protect the confidentiality of all our clients. All of our clients receive the personal attention of Jacqueline Ellis.
